Google’s new adventure game takes a top-down trip through ancient Mesoamerica

Google’s Arts & Culture division has launched a lovely new educational game all about ancient mesoamerica. the games The descent of the serpentis available to play right now in your browser or via Google Arts & Culture iOS other Android app

There is a plot of light for descent of the serpentshown in a short video that plays at the start of the game. While exploring a museum, Tezcatlipoca, the Lord of the Smoking Mirror, steals a large artifact, and a living statue asks for his help in retrieving 20 icons included in the artifact to stop the floods from taking over the world. You naturally agree, and the statue says that you will be sent back in time to ancient Mesoamerica.

You will be able to choose one of four adorable animals…
